2. The Kandi



➢ 5-10 kms along north eastern part.
➢ Height : 300m-400m above sea level
➢ Districts covered :

○ Rupnagar



3. The Alluvial Plains



➢ Part of Indo-Gangetic Plains
➢ 70% of total area
➢ Height : 180 m-300m above sea level
➢ Districts covered :
○ 270m-300m : Rupnagar, Hoshiarpur,
○ Nawanshahr, Gurdaspur
○ 230m-270m : central Punjab
○ 180m-230m : remaining districts
